Woman that eat carbohydrates are more likely to develop a depression
Here an article in Dutch I found today. It says that woman that eat a lot of red meat (steak, for instance), pasta, bread and chips, so: a lot of carbohydrates are more likely to develop a depression (rate is 29 to 41 percent higher) than woman that eat things with olive oil, fish and drink coffee and wine. What they also say that this probably is because a lot of people that feel bad eat more things with carbohydrates in it. This is the same as with sugar, it only helps for a short time and then you feel bad again. http://www.nu.nl/gezondheid/3616333/verband-tussen-koolhydraten-en-depressie.html
